With welding construction it is normally an issue to handle different lengths, width or heights of the same material when preparing a bill of material. Most companies are forced to prepare and maintain a separate identifying record (part number) for every different element of the same raw material.

Considering that the data maintenance costs associated with part information in an ERP system (considered to be between 500 to 2000 Euros per year for the creation and maintenance of each master item) is not insignificant. Saving this cost can produce significant bottom line improvements.

keytech can automatically differentiate between the information generated when creating semi finished parts and produce unique data for each occurrence of an item reference for the same raw material. Ensuring full cut list, and measurement information, is automatically created from the 3D content. From the resulting automatically created bill of material transmission of the required ERP information in any desired form can be accommodated.
