Concurrent Engineering

The reservation of models and model structures ensures that only one user can make a change at a time. The period a model can be accessed for change can be for a range of activities or to single users or groups. An integrated monitoring module allows the tracing of parts and complete assemblies. The project manager can monitor parts and assemblies that he is responsible for and will be informed automatically about every change made by other engineers. Concurrent engineering by several constructing engineers and teams can be managed. The status of a SolidWorks model can be compared with the status of other users.
