Configuration management

The configuration function in SolidWorks is an essential tool for the set-up and maintenance of standard components and versions. Whether it is a component with different views or whether it is an image of many master items of a model, the "n:m relation" of model file and master item is a basic requirement to enable effective use of this tool. Standard format ERP and Bill of material output of models supports standardization and helps reduce the diversity of parts.
  • Easy handling due to the configuration lister
  • Many to 1 relationship between master items and a document
  • Mix of view configuration and master item configuration
  • Support of external design tables to map the revisions
  • bidirectional alignment between data in the design tables and keytech (e.g. automatic adoption of revision parameters into the classification)
  • Support of assemblies and part configurations
